Mr. Parrish, who stars as a hunky troubled teenager on the Showtime series “Weeds,” and played a hunky mopey teenager in “Spring Awakening,” will next take on the role of Jesus in a revival of “Godspell,” its producers announced on Wednesday.

Jesus is starting to recruit some followers: Telly Leung, Uzo Aduba, Nick Blaemire and Morgan James have signed on for the forthcoming Broadway revival of Godspell alongside previously announced star Hunter Parrish.
