I apologize for my absence recently, possums! I have been living in the last week at the Henry Miller’s Theater – it’s a bit difficult to find wifi! It’s so clean and new and with 22 cubicles in the ladies restroom, a convenience unmatched on Broadway. At last, we girls do not have to stand in line, sometimes missing half the second act.

I have thought of lots of new things possums but I’m not doing them in
rehearsals. I’m saving them as a surprise to make Michael Feinstein
forget his lines, so I can’t tell you either!

I’ve just heard a rumour Possums that the Obamas will be coming to the show soon after opening.  I hope Michelle won’t mind that I’m wearing the same dress that Kenny designed for her!

If Michael Feinstein carries out his threat to appear on my stage, I hope he won’t be too shocked by some of my fearless anecdotes.

Went to a fitting this morning – my son Kenny has excelled himself with the gowns I’ll be wearing in the show.  I’m worried however that some of them are a little too revealing Possums!

Hello possums!  I just know you will love reading some of my most intimate moments of my show-biz life in New York!  Rehearsals going wonderfully well!  I don’t attend them but I’ve been phoning in and they tell me things are going beautifully.
